Patsy (Pat) Ann Bowden Neilsen, age 80, passed away on April 25, 2026, in
Roosevelt, Utah, surrounded by loved ones.
She was born on August 2, 1945, to Byron Alfred and Clara Marie Bowden of Roosevelt Utah. She married Manfred (Manny) Neilsen on April 12, 1963. They had just celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary. She was forever a faithful and loyal companion to her husband and best friend of 63 years.
Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who found joy in the simple moments of life and the time she spent with those she loved. Her family was where she found her greatest joy. Her children truly recognized and experienced that there is no greater love than a mother's love. Her love and compassion never wavered. Her legacy as a mother will live on for generations. She was known for her kindness, warmth, compassion and charity, and her presence brought comfort to all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Pat held many job titles, but her most cherished title was being a wife and mother. She had a special love for traveling with her family. She also enjoyed being generous to all those around her, accepting no recognition and expecting nothing in return. She will be remembered for her caring heart and the lasting impact she made on her family and community.
She is survived by her husband, Manny, and children, Tori (Dirk) Collett, Mindy Luna, Matt (Melissa), and Caleb; sister, Lisa (Alan) Hackford; brothers in-law, and sisters-in-law, Janice Hall, Diana Neilsen, Lloyd (Lee) Neilsen, and Becky Devener; 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Clara Bowden, mother and father-in-law, Clyde and Naturitch Neilsen, sister, Linda (Donald) Schwarz, sisters in-law and brothers in-law, LaJean (Sandy) Richman, Sonya (Garth) Anderton, Gwen (Terry) Reynolds, Lonny Neilsen and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held and celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
Pat’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
