"Aunt" Ruth was one of the most special ladies I knew. I enjoyed living across the street from the Rasmussens.
I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with all of you.

Dear Rasmussen Family,
Am sorry to learn of your dear mothers passing. I have known Ruth my entire life and loved her friendship and laughter and kind loving face and open arms. Betty and Dale and I grew up together in church and in school with many many fun memories! Your mom and dad were great friends to my parents and family. May God blessings and love be yours! Much love - Brad Tomlinson and the Harry and Fontella Tomlinson Family

To all of Ruth's progeny: I had the rare opportunity to work with Ruth for many years. She became one of my favorite people, always kind, thoughtful and full of goodness. I loved her dearly. She has set you an example hard to follow. Gary White MD

Ruth was a special temple friend to me. When I was an organist on Wednesday, we worked together for several years. I enjoyed riding home with her several times during that time.

What a wonderful woman! She has been an important influence in our lives. I have a hard time thinking of Roosevelt without Ruth! But I also know that heaven is a better place with her there. We are sorry for the emptiness you are feeling, but grateful for the knowledge that you will see her again! Much love, Larry & Virginia

Grandma Ruth is one of the kindest, most accepting people I know. She welcomed Lorraine into her heart and family and she even accepted me when Lorraine brought me along. She is a great lady. I appreciate her and each of her family for being so good to Lorraine and me. I pray each of you can find peace.

Sherrol and kids, Betty and family,
We send you our love. What a lovely light she was in so many lives. Now you get to experience her on the energetic space, which can have such beauty and warmth in quiet moments close to your heart and souls.
We love you

Ruth is one of the first people I remember after marrying Tom and moving to Roosevelt in 1972. She was a good example for me and I learned many things from Ruth. I moved away nearly 6 years ago but went to visit her when I went to Roosevelt. My condolences are with all of her family. She was a great lady and I loved her a lot, and looked up to her.

We remember Aunt Ruth's warmth, kindness and endless patience throughout the years. During summer and holiday visits, she always encouraged our creativity. Ruth never seemed to mind whether we were just coming over to enjoy her porch, garden and beautiful summer flowers, or we were gathering dozens of cousins and neighborhood children to put on a circus, start a pizza/lemonade stand, or put a Christmas pageant. Ruth had a generous soul, a little bit of spunk and spirit and most of all exemplified what it means to be a true lady. We will miss her.

Ruth was an Icon of Light to all who knew her. Her love of God and her Savior radiated from her through her love for people and all of her service.
I happen to be one of those lucky 4-H Students that she taught sewing and cooking to. She always had an encouraging word no matter had bad the project might look.
I never tired of hearing her stories of the past and I treasured hearing her share her testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
She was such a valiant spirit always wanting to serve the Lord. Even when she could only walk with a walker I would see her at the Temple with a radiant smile and a willing heart to do her part. She taught us all how important it is to serve cheerfully and willingly to the very end.
She will be greatly missed!

Ruth touched my life in so many ways as I am sure she touched many others around her. She will be missed by so many and none more than I. She always had kind words for all she met and rarely spoke harshly to anyone. I loved her dearly and hope you find comfort knowing that she is now with your father because that is where she was meant to be. I am so sorry for your loss and my prayers are with all of you.

My friend Ruth is an amazing woman. I never knew her to speak unkindly of others. She did live a Christ-like life and certainly has attained a great reward. We will all miss her and her sweet smile. She will always be my loved neighbor. My best to all of the family at this joyous but difficult time.
Love your family. LaRue Jensen
