Robin Ross

Robin Mary-Enid Thompson Olpin Ross, age 53, died peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, July 5, 2020 from a short battle with cancer.
She was born on November 4,1966 in Atascadero, California to William Thompson and Nancy Jane Willey.
Robin grew up in the Roosevelt and Neola, Utah areas. She was 1 of 10 children.  She graduated from Union High School in 1984. She attended Utah State University. In 1986 she married Jerry Young and together they had 4 children. Miquel, Vincent, Aaron & Zachary.
They later divorced in 1999.
She joined a singles ward and enjoyed every second of it. She made life long friends and met her future husband, Geo. She and Geo dated for a few years and were eventually married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Vernal, Utah, Temple on January 4, 2003. In 2007 they were blessed with another son, George.
Robin had many talents. There wasn’t much she couldn’t do. From baking a cake to building a house, she knew how to do it all. She had an extraordinary gift for crocheting, sewing, drawing and cross stitching.  She loved to read and journal and did it very often. There wasn’t anything she didn’t make note of.
Robin was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony and loved her Savior immensely.  She had various callings in the church and fulfilled them to the best of her ability. Her calling in Scouts was by far her favorite. She went above and beyond to make Scout Days and activities amazing for her boys.
She had a love for camping, fishing, tending to her garden and animals, traveling with her family and singing. She had the most beautiful voice. Her number one passion in life was being a wife and mother.  She strived everyday to do her best for her family and found every opportunity to serve them.  Her grand babies were her life and she loved them so very much.
Robin is survived by her husband Geo Ross and their five children, Miquel (David) McCarley, Vincent Young, Aaron (Jasmine) Young, Zach (Jenny) Young, George Ross; six grandchildren, Attisyn, Cougan, PrinzLeigh, Sydellie, Coston, Benny, Chase & Cyndi; mother Nancy Olpin; siblings, Leonard Ducharme, Julie (Darren) Jensen, Naomi Coons, Joe Olpin, Nancy Hansen, Alta Pope, Darlene Branson & David Olpin; and many nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and friends.
