Karen Ann McKowen

    Karen Ann McKowen, age 44, passed away March 27, 2021 at the Provo Care Center.
    Karen was born July 20, 1976 in Roosevelt to Danny M and Dorothy May Babcock McKowen.  She married Rex Rogers, they later divorced.  
    Karen was always happy and found joy in life.  She loved her family very much and delighted in spending time with them.  She enjoyed children and they gravitated to her happy disposition.  She enjoyed going places with her family, especially shopping and Chuck-O-Rama.  She attended the Special Olympics for several years and won a lot of awards.  
    She is survived by her parents, Danny McKowen, Roosevelt; Dorothy (Jesus) Coronado, Chihuahua, Mexico; her brother, Bobby (Kimberly) McKowen, Missouri;
special aunts, Hazel Aranas, Roosevelt; Carolyn (Burt) Bird, Altamont; and Veda Tomlinson, Ft. Duchesne.
    She was preceded in death by her brother, Tracy Dee McKowen, grandparents, James E and Melvera Cook Babcock, Burns and Mary Ileene Warr McKowen and many nieces, nephews and others.
    Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at the Altamont Cemetery.  A viewing will be held at the Hullinger Mortuary from 11:00 - 11:45 a.m.
