Luella “Jennie” Wopsock Murdock, age 69, of Ft. Duchesne, died on Saturday, August 15, 2020, at the Ashley Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Jennie was born on December 23, 1950, to John & Leatha Harris Wopsock.  She married Karnel Murdock on March 5, 1972, in Vernal, Utah.  He died November 20, 2014.
Jennie attended Brigham Young University and later taught Headstart and JOM.  She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice.  She enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing.  She was a good and devoted Christian woman and was active in the Pentecostal Church. Jennie was very loving and forgiving.  Her family was important to her and her grandchildren were her whole world.
Jennie is survived by her children, Marlen (Emmy) Murdock, Roosevelt; Waylon (Lora) Murdock, Neola; Jennel Murdock (Jaime Mitchell), Roosevelt; Devin (Dalena) Ward, Neola; Youvella Checora, Raylayne Checora, both of Whiterocks Road; John Renwick, Vernal; 26 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ron (Cindylin) Wopsock, Merla Wopsock, Leslie (OJ) Trujillo, Lana Wopsock, Kaye (Theron) Wells, Lana Wopsock (Leslie Myore) Corina Tassidy, Beverly (Colin) Mojado, and Bobby (Michelle) Redcap.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Karnel, son, Frank Checora, siblings, Glorianne Wopsock, Floyd Wopsock, Hank (Ingrid) Wopsock, David Wopsock, and Raymond Cornpeach.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Pentecostal Church on the Whiterocks Road.  Jennie will be available for viewing on Monday and Tuesday at the mortuary from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Burial in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
