Howard Glen Warren

    Howard Glen Warren's soul was set free on May 27, 2020.  He was at the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
    Howard was born in Roosevelt, Utah on July 9, 1945 to Theora Jane Cook Warren and Joseph Glen Warren.  He was raised in the Uintah Basin working alongside his parents on various farms while attending school. He graduated from Weber High School, Ogden, Utah in 1963 and then served in the US Army from 1966 to 1972.  While attending Weber State College he met and married his best friend Dixie LaFern Evans on October 27, 1968.
    Howard was a simple man who enjoyed the great outdoors sharing stories with his friends and family.  His greatest loves were his family and his dogs. Howard considered home his favorite place to be. He loved taking Sunday drives  that led to exceedingly long shortcuts, creating great memories and additional stories to tell.
    He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Dixie LaFern Evans Warren, his sons, Eric Glen (Evelyn) Warren, Fort Duchesne; Jeremiah Howard Warren, Neola; daughter, Rachael Jane Warren (Mike Brandt), Neola; grandchildren, Jacob Warren (Sorsha Evans), Benjamin (Teresa) Warren, Liberty Warren (Richard Bland) , Ana Warren, Miranda (Nick) Merrick; Joshua (Andrea) Lindsay; Makayla (Luis) Lamb;  Tranden Warren, Kiaren Warren (Carson Lamb);
great grandchildren, Lillian, Leonard, Emma, Delilah, Samantha and Emberly. siblings, Max (Alice) Warren, Neola;  Kathleen (Don) Sterrett, and Terri (Doran) Denney.
    He is preceded in death by Willard  Warren, Paul Warren, Edward Bond, Marvin Olsen, Don Sterrett, Sheila Olsen Kaufman, Norman Kaufman, William Cody Kaufman, Marleen Olsen, Mark Olsen, Baby Flora Warren, and His Parents
    Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bluebell Cemetery.  Military honors will be presented by the Roosevelt American Legion and the Utah National Guard.
