Danny Iorg

     Danny K Iorg, age 72, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away at his home, with his family by his side on September 13, 2019,
     Danny was born February 9, 1947 in Ft. Duchesne to Verl Charles and Thelma Ada Curry Iorg.  He married Carol Jean Rasmussen on October 25, 1967.  She died October 25, 2013.
    Danny was a hard worker, working many jobs through the years.  He worked at Great Lakes Timber for 12 years, at Leon Ross Drilling for 6 years, for John Fausett, Jay Brothers and Link Trucking.  He loved welding and made many things, including a gazebo out of a satellite dish.  He was a talented mechanic, enjoyed hunting,  fishing, and camping.  He was very creative, did lots of rock art, and loved to draw and paint.  He had a fun sense of humor and was always pulling a joke on someone.  He liked to attend the Pow Wow.
    He is survived by his children, Sheila Marie Iorg, Ft. Duchesne Becky (Travis) Richardson, Mack, CO; and 6 grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Iorg, daughter Marlane, Iorg, grandson Daylen Cuch, siblings, Verl Iorg, Nathan Byrd Genereaux, Oran Henry Iorg, and an infant baby sister.
    Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Strawberry Cemetery.  A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening at the Hullinger Mortuary from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
