William Hill

     William Edward “Bill” Hill, age 88, of Fruitland, passed away with family by his side on October 4, 2025.
    Bill was born November 24, 1936 in Easton Pennsylvania, to Clifford Harvey and Edith Mae Lobb Hill.  He married Ela Maureen Brown , together they had 5 children, later divorcing, but remaining friends.  He married Michelle Ann Nelson, November 24, 1992.
    Bill served both in the Air Force and the Marines, part of the time during the Korean War.  He had a talent of fixing anything, and had a speciality in working on airplanes.  He also worked with electricity, construction, plumbing, and fixed up used vehicles and resold them.
    He worked as a manager over several refineries through the years.  He always made sure his family was provided for and always finished a job as close to perfection as was possible.
    He is survived by his wife, Michelle Hill, children, William “Bill” (Debbie) Hill, Gerald “Jerry (Brenda) Hill, Karen Tulin, Kathy (Brett) Batty, Kevin (Jodie) Hill, Shane Garoutte, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, his brothers Richard (Joyce) Hill and Wayne Fretz.
    He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Steve Tulin, and siblings, Ronald “Ronnie” Hill, Charles Hill, Douglas Hill and Shirley Marchbank.
    Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fruitland Cemetery.  A viewing will be held that morning at the Fruitland Church of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 9:30 - 10:30 AM.
   Graveside services for William Hill, age 88, of Fruitland husband of Michelle Hill, will be on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fruitland Cemetery.  A viewing will be held that morning at the Fruitland Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 9:30 - 10:30 AM
 Military honors will be presented by the Duchesne American Legion and the Patriot Guard Riders.
