Vivian Bedonie

Vivian Taveapont Bedonie, age 64, of Roosevelt, passed away on December 15, 2025 at the Uintah Basin Rehabilitation & Sr. Villa with her family by her side.

Vivian was born August 13, 1961 in Roosevelt, Utah to Ray and Carrie Chase Thompson Taveapont.

She married Barry Jenks, November 24, 1981, he died December 29, 1991. She married Theodore Bedonie, June 13, 1996. He died July 13, 2010.

Vivian enjoyed spending time at the casino, cleaning and keeping things neat, going to dinner with friends or family, traveling attending the Pow Wow, spending time in the mountains, and having BBQ’s. She delighted in quality time with her family and loved each of them.

She is survived by her children, Annie Jenks, Heit Jenks, Jesse (Daniel) Jenks; her two grandchildren, Emily & Jenesis; and siblings, Nancy Thompson, Don (Roseline) Taveapont and Katherine (Earl) Manning.

She is preceded in death by her son, Trooper Jenks; grandson, Ivan Jenks; siblings, Sonya Wopsock, Ingrid Wopsock, Rose Mary Thompson, Jane Taveapont Steele, Raymond Taveapont, Gregory Taveapont, Patricia Taveapont, Loraine Taveapont, Linda Taveapont; her half siblings, Reed Taveapont, Wilson Taveapont, Frankie Taveapont, Lynn Taveapont, Reita Summers, Beatrice Taveapont and Patty Taveapont.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Whiterocks Community Building. A wake will be held at the same location on Thursday after 4:00 PM.

Burial will be in the John Harmes Cemetery.
