Vicky Lynn Craft, age 61, of Lapoint, died on July 21, 2024, at her sister’s home in Salt Lake City, after a battle with cancer.
Vicky was born on October 30, 1962, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Howard and Rosemary Eskelson. After Howard’s passing, Rosemary married Verl Larson, who Vicky considered to be dad.
Vicky grew up in Salt Lake City and graduated from East High School. She later moved back to Roosevelt where she worked as a care giver. She married Charles Russell Craft on February 14, 1985, in Wendover, Nevada. He died on November 27, 2008.
Vicky loved to craft: making cards, scrap booking, seasonal decorations, and ornaments, often participating in Christmas ornament exchanges. She liked to spend time in her garden and was a fabulous cook. She could be found watching homesteading videos on YouTube.
Vicky will be remembered for her honesty. She was a strong and exemplary woman. Vicky’s greatest love was her family - especially her children and grandchildren. She was an extraordinary grandmother and will be greatly missed by her posterity.
Vicky is survived by her children, Charles Craft, and Joshua (Amanda) Craft; grandchildren, Ashton, Isabella, and Jacobie Craft; mother, Rosemary Larson; sister, Michelle Larson; nephews, Michael and Christopher Knowlton, and Zackary Dellinger; and many aunts, an uncle, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her father, Howard Eskelson, and dad, Verl Larson; daughter, Heather Craft; sister, Connie Knowlton; niece, Kristina Knowlton; nephew, Nicholas Knowlton; and grandparents, Jim and Neva Smith.
