Vicki Kynaston, West Jordan, Utah. Our wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, Vicki Allen Kynaston, age 76, of West Jordan (formerly a resident of Pleasant Valley), Utah, died peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2023, of complications due to liver failure.
Vicki was born December 31, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Nathan Durfey and Ruth Ball Allen. Vicki married her high school sweetheart, David Orvil Kynaston, on October 6, 1966, in the Salt Lake City temple. He died June 23, 2009.
Vicki was an amazing woman who loved her family fiercely. She was loved and respected by all those who knew her. Vicki was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings throughout her life. She worked at Kings Peak Credit Union and Mountain America Credit Union for many years.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly Kynaston (Darwin Holloway-Brown II), Keeley (Darin) Blackhurst, Kaisa Kynaston, Melissa Ericksen, James Walkup, Kelly Norton; six grandchildren, Dain Walkup, Jayde and Marcus Holloway-Brown, Brinley and Aubri Blackhurst, Keeda Norton; sister, Francine Fenn; brother, Bruce (Becky) Allen; nieces, Brittney Wilson, Tanya Gough; nephew, Chris Cannon; special lifelong best friends Newell and Adelia Richens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David, and parents, sister, Laurie Davis, brother-in-law, Ronald Fenn, son-in-law, Dennis Ericksen and nephew, Brian C Allen Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 - 11:45 a.m.
Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
