Turquoise Floydena Christensen, age 20 month, of Ft. Duchesne, was killed in an automobile accident on Sunday, August 16, 2015.
Turquoise was born December 1, 2013 in Roosevelt to Harley Web Christensen and Mahalia Chum Checora.
Turquoise was the light of her families life, she had great enthusiasm for everything and everyone around her. She loved her Elsa high heels from the movie frozen, and delighted in dancing around the house in them. She liked to go to the camping, to the mountains and ride her uncles horse. She cherished animals and loved to play with her cats and rabbits. She adored her sister Reinu.
She is survived by her father, Harley (Charity Rasmussen) Christensen, mother, Mahalia Checora, brothers & sisters, Juliet Levia, Willie Hernandez, Jasmin Christensen, Dakota Rassmussen, Sally Holman, and Reinu Checora, grandparents, Tammy (Roger Oliver, Jr.) Farnsworth, Jack (Delaine) Sixkiller, great grandparents, Margie & Don Clark, Roberta Burns, Bernadine UncaSam, aunts and uncles, Delphine James, Valentino James, Marie &Vance Gardner, Robert & Joan Yazzie, Kathleen Kent Olsen, Chuck & Pearl Ewing, Henry Sixkiller, Curtis & Trisha Tyler, Eddy & Patricia Quantana, Ted & Lee Berg, Carmon Murray, Carl Christensen, Jr., Joey Christensen, Shaylynn Farnsworth Christensen, Roberta Christensen, Judy & Marcus Majado, Gregory Checora, Jr., Grant Checora, Rainy Manyhides, Sukie Manyhides, Evandore Cuch, Kerre Cuch, Eagle Olsen, Santana Cuch, and Donsina Checora.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bert Christensen, Lynn & Lois Farnsworth, Wilbert Christensen, Reuben & Lena Sixkiller, Ramon & Floydena Appawora, uncles, Rang Sixkiller, and Walter Sixkiller.
Funeral services held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary. Two wakes will be held, the first on Tuesday, August 18th after 4:00 p.m. at her father's home in Ft. Duchesne, the second wake will be held on Wednesday, August 19th after 4:00 p.m. at Jack Sixkiller's home in Roosevelt.
Burial in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
