Todd Remund Moon, 54, of Antelope Canyon, Utah, passed away tragically in an auto accident on September 18, 2024. Born the fourth of seven children to Alton and Carolyn Moon, Todd grew up in a lively household where being a classic middle child meant plenty of teasing of his younger siblings.

From an early age, Todd was a hard worker. Though he appeared unassuming, he was stronger than he looked. He wrestled in Junior High and later served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Des Moines, Iowa, where he learned the importance of dedication and service.

Todd's greatest pride was his family. He was blessed with four sons, whom he raised to be good, hardworking, respectful men. He shared his love for the ranch lifestyle, teaching them to care for livestock and live by honest, down-to-earth values. His unique sense of humor, remembered by those close to him, was seen in moments like pulling his sheep camp with an old Cadillac or playing classic country music that he loved so much.

Quiet and observant, Todd wasn't one for small talk, but his sharp mind and memory made him a wealth of knowledge, especially when it came to family history. He cherished his ancestors' stories and took pride in sharing them with others. A true jack-of-all-trades, Todd could fix anything, and he built the best, straightest fences around. His famous phrase, "My Hell," was often heard when he was working hard or lending a hand.

Above all, Todd loved deeply. His grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life, and nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with them.

Todd will be remembered for his love, loyalty, humor, and quiet strength. His decision to be an organ donor will continue his legacy, helping many others in need.

Todd is survived by his wife, Brandy Fuller Moon; his sons, Collin (Katie) Moon, Garrett Loren Moon, and Dillon Alton Moon, his daughter-in-law Whitney Moon, and his treasured grandchildren, Ruby, Zane, Navy, Bo, Nellie, and Wes Moon. Todd leaves behind his loving mother, Carolyn Remund Moon, and his siblings, Ken (Nancy) Moon, Leisa (Stephen) Roberts, Jodi (Mike) Reinhardt, Russell (Christal) Moon, Amy (Josh) Hunter, and Kellee (Kirk) Grant.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alton Nye Moon, and his beloved son, Weston Todd Moon.

A viewing will be held at Hullinger Mortuary, 457 East 300 North, Roosevelt, Utah, on Sunday, September 22, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The graveside service will take place at Duchesne City Cemetery, 700 South Highway 191, on Monday, September 23, at 11:00 a.m.

In his own words to his son Weston only a few months ago, "Pick us out a good place, pard. With sweet grass and water in every draw. I wanted to do the task, now it's up to you." Rest in peace, Todd, we love you!
