Tia Sunrise Black

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved baby girl, Tia Sunrise Black. She was born and died on January 12, 2026, to Ysela Lopez Black and Lorenzo Black Jr. at University Hospital in San Antonio, TX. Her siblings include Tevin, Leitza, Marcello, Tanner, and Raymond.

Tia is survived by her parents and siblings; grandparents, Sharon Martinez, the late Felipe Lopez, Kaye Black, Lorenzo Black Sr.; great-grandparents, Pauline Black, Minnie Grant, and Norman & Glenda Lopez. She is loved by numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. Though our daughter’s time was short she will be forever loved.

There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Community building with a wake beginning the day before on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
