Terry Huxford

Terry Farrell Huxford, age 72, of Roosevelt, passed away September 9, 2015, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center from a long time illness.
He was born November 7, 1942, in Brigham City, to Alfred H and Marion Smith Huxford. He married Clara Jean Betts on September 30, 1960, in Roosevelt.
Terry owned and operated Ben Franklin, the Kawasaki Bike Shop, and Trails End in Roosevelt. He also worked hard as a paint contractor. He served on the Roosevelt Fire Department for almost 20 years - and 2 years as Fire Chief. His number one pastime was golfing, and he also enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and water skiing.
He loved his children and adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Terry is survived by his wife of almost 55 years, Clara; children, Terry Wade Huxford, and Mauna Rae Warren, all of Roosevelt; grandchildren, Angie Koyle, Tierra Warre, Greg Warren, Brady O'Driscoll, Josh Richman, Wyatt Huxford, Makayla Huxford; 5 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Darlene (Floyd) Bartlett, Vernal; and Kandy Thomas, Salt Lake City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Larry Bartlett; and step-father, Robert Hardy.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary. There will be viewings at the mortuary on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Monday.
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
