Teresa Houston

Teresa Houston, age 55, of Lapoint, passed away July 2, 2021 at the University of Utah Hospital from Lung disease. She was surrounded by family as she left this earth.

She was born in Provo, Utah to Max and Audrey Clark Houston. She married Jeff Shepherd in 1983. They had two daughters, Aubrey in 1983 and Laura in 1985. They later divorced.
Teresa worked as a CNA for several years, and then she worked for Aztec Communications installing power to the fiber optic lines. She loved her family and her service dog, Julie Rose, with all of her heart. She enjoyed camping, fishing, family gatherings and cartoons.
Teresa is survived by her daughters, Aubrey (Eric) Woods, Roosevelt; Laura (Adam) Phillippi, Lapoint; her mother, Audrey Houston, Roosevelt; her brothers, Max (Robyn) Houston, Elk Mountain, Wyoming; Jeff (Paula) Houston, Roosevelt; her 7 grandkids whom she loved and adored, Dylan, Carson, Piper, Arthur, LaVan, Jerikah, and Naomi; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Max L. Houston; grandmothers, Alice Wilcox Lundin, Stella Farnsworth Clark; niece, Somer Perkins; and aunt, Suzy.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., July 24, 2021, at the Lapoint Park with a luncheon at 1:00 p.m .
