Ted Ian Manning

Ted Ian Manning Sr., age 52, of Yellowstone Subdivision, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 8, 2018.
Ted was born on January 11, 1966 in Roosevelt, to Albert Beaver Manning and Delores Larose Arrowchis.  He married Tracie Martinez on November 8, 2005 at the Ute Baptist Church on Whiterocks Road.
Ted was a jack of all trades, working as a carpenter, roofer, roustabout, and concrete finisher.
Throughout his life he was a traditional and spiritual man, who was always there for others that needed or asked for his help.  Ted was one of the original singers of the Chipeta Lake Drum Group that traveled throughout Indian country to sing. He was also a Sundancer, designing and creating traditional Native outfits.
Ted was a talented artist who enjoyed drawing, painting, all genres of music, hunting, fishing, camping, gambling, and traveling.  He loved to cook and always made sure everyone was fed.  He always enjoyed telling stories that were shared with him by relatives as a young boy growing up.
Ted is survived by his wife, Tracie, all his children, grandchildren, family relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by many loved ones.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the John Harmes Cemetery.  A wake will be held on Tuesday after 4:00 p.m. at his home in the Yellowstone Subdivision.
