Taygen Arlen Nye, age 17, of Myton, Utah, passed away September 2, 2024, from injuries sustained in a car accident.
He was born June 15, 2007, in Heber City. He is the son of Tawnya and Frank Fowler and Dakota Venzor.
Taygen was an outdoorsman. He loved shed hunting, bow and rifle hunting, fishing and camping. He fiercely loved his family and friends. If you were a friend, he thought of you as family. He enjoyed teasing his friends and his cousins, but was also very protective of them.
Taygen just started his senior year at Union High School. He absolutely loved being a member of the FFA and never wanted to miss any activity. He worked part time as a diesel mechanic.
Taygen is survived by his loving parents, Tawnya and Frank Fowler; his grandmas, Freddie Nye, Carlene Fowler, and Fawn Venzor; uncles, Tom (Tera) Nye, Shane Nye; aunt, Kara (Cody) Maxfield; biological father, Dakota Venzor and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandpas, Thomas Arlen Nye, Franklin Fowler, and Richard Venzor.
Our family would like to thank everyone who has called, texted, stopped by, brought food, donated for the funeral expenses, and so many other acts of kindness. We love you all and will never be able to repay you for how wonderful you have been.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at the Myton Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Viewings will be held on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary and Saturday at the church from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Myton City Cemetery.
