    Sylvia Rose Mountain Cornpeach, age 71, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away March 8, 2018 at her home in Ft. Duchesne.
    Sylvia was born April 2, 1946 in Ft. Duchesne to James and Sarah Colorow Mountain.  She married Stanford Dean Cornpeach, they later divorced.
    Sylvia had a talent for crafts, art and beading, her work was beautiful and immaculate.  She enjoyed traveling, shopping, eating out, going to craft fairs, attending the Pow Wow, Sundance and Beardance.  Her family was her greatest joy.
    She is survived by her son, Eric (Dandrea) Appah, granddaughter, Ava Watts, and Sarah Reede, Kimberlee Appah, Shawndi Appah, great granddaughters, Gracelynn Blackhair, Ka-Layah Burnett, Lily Romero, nieces and nephews, Thomasina Appah, Terry Appah, Douglas Appah, Edison Lyman, Christopher Mountain, Richard Mountain, Jr., Jerrod Mountain, cousin,, Anita Jose.and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Margaret Cornpeach, siblings, Richard Mountain, Arlene Appah, Lillian Mountain, Violet Cuch, Lewis Mountain, and a nephew, Michael D Appah.    
    Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
