Stephanie Ann Reiley

Stephanie Ann Reiley, born on September 2, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Roosevelt, Utah, on January 23, 2026.

Stephanie had a fulfilling career as a medical/chemical technologist that afforded her the flexibility to travel and experience new places. She earned her Medical Technologist certificate, showcasing her commitment to both education and her career. 

Stephanie was not shy about expressing her feelings and often spoke candidly about her thoughts and beliefs.

Known for her generous nature, Stephanie was kind and caring. Her faith in God was evident; she often spoke to Him and shared her conviction with those around her. She grew up in the Catholic Church and loved the faith. She also found joy in attending the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with one of her sons and his family, and eventually converted. Some of her favorite hymns included "How Great Thou Art" and "I Am a Child of God," reflecting her deep spiritual convictions.

In her leisure time, Stephanie cherished sewing, quilting, and embroidering. She found great satisfaction in creating beautiful pieces and loved sharing them with others. She enjoyed ceramics as well. She could frequently be found putting together puzzles or doing puzzle games which she felt was important for her brain health. Stephanie loved to read and watch movies, particularly those about biblical characters. She also had a sweet tooth, enjoying ice cream, Dr. Pepper, and cookies. Tiramisu was her absolute favorite dessert. Travel was another passion of hers, allowing her to create lasting memories with family and friends while enjoying the beautiful sites of the world.

Stephanie was proud of her family's accomplishments, often supporting them by attending various performances and sporting competitions.

She is survived by her children, Lois Trainer of California; Martin (Cecy) Lefler of California; Sean Reiley of Florida; Vincent (Jennifer) Reiley of Roosevelt, Utah; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Steven Lowery; her niece, Connie (James) Bender; and many other relatives.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Depner and Hilda Mary Kraus; her daughters, Glenora Susan Lowery and Darl Marie Ralston; her sister, Margaret Louise Gromo; her brother-in-law, Harry Arthur Gromo, Sr.; and her nephew, Harry Arthur Gromo, Jr.

Her life touched many. She will be missed and she will be remembered for her caring heart and unwavering faith in her Savior and Friend, Jesus Christ.

As per her desire there will not be a viewing or funeral.
