Stanley Womack, Sr.

   Stanley Ivan Womack, Sr. age 86, passed away surrounded by his family on February 12, 2015 on the family farm in Independence, Utah.
    He was born June 2, 1928 in Independence, Utah to Henry Edgar Womack and Thelma Dorothy Prigmore. He was raised on a family farm not too far down the road from where he was living, with 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
    He married his sweetheart of 63 years, Cuba Cleo Peterson, on March 14, 1951, in Elko, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on July 16, 1964. They were sealed to all their children at that time.     He enjoyed being with his wife, children, 35 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren the most, and working the family farm where we as children learned a lot of life’s lessons from his loving hands. He enjoyed having visits from family and friends and watching his grandchildren play at his feet.
    He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served a mission from November 1993-1994 with his Loving Companion in the Independence Missouri Mission. He served in many other church positions. He worked many years at Hi-Land Diary, IFA and other various jobs. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
    He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren & great grandchildren, sister, Dorothy McClellan, brothers, Glen & Dale Womack.
    He was preceded in death by his mother & father, brothers, Harold & Gordon, sister, Margaret Birchell and grandson, Michael Arrowchis Jr.
    Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Ballard LDS Chapel. There will be a viewing on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary, Wednesday morning, 10-10:45 am, at the Chapel prior to the services.  
    Interment will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park, with military honors presented by the VFW #4519 and the Army National Guard.
