Stacy Leon Morris, of Vernal, formerly of Myton, passed away exactly 44 years to the day on February 27, 2018, at University of Utah Hospital, from complications with a blood clot.
He was born February 27, 1974, in Vernal, to Leon and Gene Marie “Tiny” Christensen Morris.
Stacy was an auto mechanic and was a truck driver for a gravel hauling company. He had worked at LaRose Construction and Kaufusi Trucking. He really enjoyed driving truck. In his spare time he fished, hunted, and drew - he was an excellent artist. He loved his nephews, and they adored him.
Stacy is survived by his parents, “Tiny” & Leon, of Vernal; sister, Magen (Sergio) Jimenez, Myton; and a step-grandfather, Alex “Butch” Fouts, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jamie Dean Morris, grandparents, Lavor & Bernice Morris, Roberta Marie Burns Fouts; uncles, LeRoy, Roger, Vern Morris, Bert Christensen.
A viewing will be held on Saturday March 3, 2018, at the Hullinger Mortuary from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Afterwards, per his wishes, he will be cremated.
