Shirley Gayle Fenn, age 64, of Roosevelt, UT, passed away March 21, 2024, at the Uintah Basin Senior Villa from complications of a long battle with diabetes.
    She was born November 21, 1959, Bowman, North Dakota, to Leonal and Marjorie Silk Fenn.
    Shirley always worked, even while in High School. She just always had a job. She worked for many years in the petroleum industry. Her last job was as an office manager for Anadarko Petroleum. She was always very athletic, playing volleyball, softball, and golf. While playing softball, she learned the underarm fast pitch –well before the girls started playing that way. She was an avid golfer, and loved the game, where she made many good friends. She really enjoyed reading and watching her favorite Soap Opera. She also loved cats.
    The family wishes to thank her nephew, Brian Row, who, along with his fiancé Mary Knost, took care of her for the last few years. Also, the family would like to give special thanks toKeith and Vivian Winterton, who were her guardian angels here on earth. 
    Shirley is survived by her sister, Janet (Mike) Row, Roosevelt, her brother Rick Fenn of O’Fallon, Missouri; and her sister-in-law, Phyllis (Ross) Young; along with many nieces and nephews who she loved.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Allen Fenn and Bob Fenn; and all her grandparents, George and Bell Fenn of Roosevelt; and Frank and Eva Silk of Edmonton, Alberta.
    Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary. There will be a visitation prior to the services from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
    Burial will be in the Cedarview Cemetery.
