Sherri Lynn (LaRose) Montgomery, age 52, of Hayden, Utah passed away at her home on December 30, 2022.
Sherri was born April 06, 1970, to K.C. LaRose and Loreen Malnar LaRose in Roosevelt, Utah.  She later graduated from Union High School in Roosevelt, Utah.  She received a degree at Steven-Henager College of Business in Provo, Utah
Sherri was married to Brad North, but later divorced.  She then married Dennis Paquet, who passed away in a motorcycle accident. Her current husband is Scott Montgomery.
Sherri had a strong work ethic and worked before graduating from high school.  She worked in Human Resources and Management for numerous companies in her adult life.
Sherri’s first love was caring for her family.  She raised them, nurtured them, loved them, and  spoiled them.  Sherri was a good cook and loved to try new recipes.  Her biggest worry being what to fix for the next meal.
Sherri’s second love in life was gambling.  She loved betting on the “ponies” and going to Wendover to play the Slot Machines.  She had Platinum player card status. Scott nicknamed her the “Platinum Princess” and loved the perks that came with it.  She loved hotel suites with big, jetted tubs, and fine dining restaurants.  She would get teased, that she had champagne taste on a beer budget. The last time she went to Wendover, she hit a $2,500 jackpot.  That evening Scott commented that he could not get into the bed because Sherri had spread twenty-five one-hundred-dollar bills all over the bed. Sherri loved the place she lived, her home, her animals, and going to the river which she lovingly referred to as “the beach” to sunbathe.
Sherri loved life and her many friends and family.  Many of her friends were lifelong friends.  Sherri had a big heart and would do anything to help anyone.  Her love of family was never ending.
Sherri was preceded in death by her father K.C. LaRose; brother Loren LaRose; grandparents Kenneth and Lois LaRose and Stephen and Marvel Malnar; and nephew Jens LaRose.
Sherri is survived by her husband Scott Montgomery and sons, K.C. North, Braden North, Dylan Paquet, and Bridger Montgomery. Her parents Loreen (Dennis) Montgomery Roosevelt, Utah; brother Dustin (Paula) LaRose Altamont, Utah; sister Danielle (Kyle) Miller Salt Lake City, Utah.  Mother-in-law Julie (Brett) Robbins Cedar City, Utah; sister-in-law’s Tiffany (Stephen) Castorino Las Vegas, Nevada; Jennifer Montgomery Sandy, Utah; brother-in-law Brian (Courtnie) Montgomery Riverton, Utah.
