Sheila May Bird

Sheila May Bird, age 62, of Myton, passed away at her home with her beloved family by her side on August 19, 2026.

Sheila was born on January 16, 1964, in Ogden, Utah to Donald Allen and Vicki Lynn Hadley Smith. She married Kent David Bird on June 6, 1990.

She was a very caring, loving person who enjoyed people and was know for her compassion and willingness to help. Sheila and Kent did foster-care for numerous years, and adopted several children. She was a wonderful cook who delighted in feeding others. Her family was what she cherished most and delighted in spending time with each of them.

In her younger years she enjoyed softball and bowling. She liked to crochet, go camping, and doing her hair and make up.

She is survived by her husband Kent Bird; children, Brandie Bird (Mike Winkler), Viola Seddell, Jason (Alicia) Bird, Jose Bird, Martin Bird; 17 grandkids, 1 great-grandkid; siblings, Allen Smith, Alesha Melton, Josh Smith; her father Donald Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vicki Smith; son, Aaron Davis; and nephews, Christopher and Kyler Smith.

Per her wishes she was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
