Rupert Duncan

Rupert James Duncan, age 39, of Ft. Duchesne, died September 4, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Emery County.

 Rupert was born September 19, 1984 in Roosevelt, Utah to Emmett R Duncan, Sr., and Sharranne Checora. 

 Rupert loved people and life. He enjoyed going to the mountains, drawing, shooting his bow and arrows, playing the flute, riding his bike, and spending time with his family and friends. 

 He is survived by his parents, Emmett Duncan, Sr., Sharranne Checora, his siblings, Alanna Checora, Raymond Martinez, Clinton Duncan, Maxine Duncan, Emmett Duncan, Jr., and Jessica Teague.

 He is preceded in death by his siblings, Filena Alexis Checora-Duncan and Laverda Duncan.

 Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building. A wake will be held after 1:00 p.m. on Saturday
