Robin Rita Colorow

    Robin Rita Colorow, age 38, of Vernal, passed away October 26, 2022, at her home.
    She was born November 8, 1983, in Roosevelt, to Nelson Lee and Lucy Christina McCook Colorow.  
    Robin had worked at the Ute Tribe Daycare and she adored the children she took care of.  She loved raising her children and being with her family.  She enjoyed beadwork, traveling, fishing, going to casinos, having barbeques, and cooking – especially steaks, chicken casserole, Indian Tacos, and her burritos were the best!  She was a traditional dancer at both the Bear Dances and Pow Wows.
    Robin is survived by her children Cearia & Lucy Colorow, Wyatt & Wyle Reed; siblings, Nelson (Tiffany) Colorow, Vernal; Hewitt Colorow, Denver; aunts and uncles, Chipeta McCook, Mary Colorow, Loretta & Duane Burchick, Freda Groves, Camille Appawora, Roland McCook, Everett & Robert Colorow; Henry & Lynn Appawora; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy & Nelson; grandparents, Ouray Sr & Georgina McCook; Melba Accawanna; Hewitt Colorow; William Appawora, Sr., aunts, Eloise Ledbetter, Velma Sireech, and uncle, Arbon Colorow.  
    Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Myton Community Building.  A wake will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Monday at the community building.    
    Burial will be in the Randlett Cemetery
