Roberto Pozos

Roberto Manuel Pozos, age 46, of Albany, California, formerly of the Uintah Basin, passed away August 3, 2025, in California.

Roberto was born July 16, 1979, in California to Johnny Miguel and Elizabeth Ann Redfoot Pozos. He and his siblings grew up and lived most of their lives in California

Berto had a happy-go-lucky spirit and was very much loved by the entire family. All of his nieces and nephews called him “Papa Roberto” and they loved being at his home. He was not judgmental and made friends easily. He was adventurous and had even been skydiving. He was very protective of his family and liked to laugh and have fun!

He was an audio tech and would often take apart speakers and things used for sound and make it louder and better.

Berto is survived by his grandmother, Ina Jane Nephi; siblings, Juanita & Antonio Pozos; nephews, Nino, Dominic, & Julien Keremian; other relatives, Anthony Pozos; Harmony Taveapont; Olijah Poowegup, Tayla Antonio; Sativa, Anika, & Joseph Nakai; Brianna Estrella, Luna Sky Poowegup; DelRay, Airlynne, Corrina Cornpeach; Hummingbird & Channing Murray; Joline & Richard Poowegup; Roseann & Jubal Myore; Tissy Cuch; Delana, Travis, & Deeatha Mart; Bettina Redfoot; Gracie Cornpeach, Evangeline “Banny” Poowegup; Casper Poowegup; Tony & Olivianna Nakai; Zhondee Nephi; Jamis & Jamal; Latrell; Dalylee Riondee Sireech; Rosa Myore; Jubal Myore, Jr; Quannah Poowegup; Ayach, Nameech & Lilly Lang; Shastie & Robert Nephi and children; Ivanna Nephi; Beheda Nakai; and many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny & Elizabeth; grandpa, Charles Redfoot; relatives, Eli Poowegup, Delwyn Mart, Cody Mart, Jonas Poowegup, Swan Nephi, O’Neesha Cornpeach; Dawtae Cornpeach; Newman & Newton Nephi; Raphael Nakai, Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 10:00 AM, at the Red Knoll Cemetery. A wake will be held after 4:00 PM on Thursday at O’nessha Cornpeach’s residence, 7245 E 825 S, La Mesa, Ft. Duchesne.
