Robert Casper

Robert Faris Casper (“Rob” to most) passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2015 in Tabiona, Utah.
He was born in Heber City to Clinton and Athara Casperon June 8, 1945.  Before serving in the Vietnam War, Rob graduated from Tabiona High School.  Upon returning to Utah, he worked for Hill AFB as a fireman.
He met the love of his life, Patsy Lamb Casper, and together they have two wonderful daughters.  In 1995, Rob retired and he and Pat returned to their childhood home of Tabiona.
Rob was a simplistic man who enjoyed the simple things in life.  His greatest joys
were spending time with family and friends.  Throughout his life Rob enjoyed boating, camping, fishing and hunting.  But above all, he loved a good story, whether he was telling it or hearing it. He had a huge heart and was always there to help anyone who needed it.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: wife, Pat Casper; his two daughters, Pam (Chris) Hurst and Nicole Witkowski; grandkids, Dustin Narramore, James Hurst, Thomas Witkowski and Damon Witkowski; sisters, Doris, Viola and Dicey.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the Tabiona LDS Chapel.  A viewing will be held from 10:00 - 11:30 am.
Interment will follow at the Tabiona Cemetery with military honors presented by the American Legion and Utah National Guard.
