Randy Sather

    David Randolf “Randy” Sather, age 69, of Roosevelt, went to join his parents and beloved grandma, Josephine Markey in Heaven on Sunday, January 29, 2017.
    Randy was born April 23, 1947 in Roosevelt to Robert “Bob” and Bonnie Ross Sather.  He graduated from Union High School in 1965.
    Randy went to Gem City College in Quincy, Illinois where he became a Gemologist and Master Jeweler.  He served in the army during the Vietnam War.
    He had many friends and no one was a stranger.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
    He is survived by his children, Jason Sather, Nicole (Max) Chapoose, Corbet Sather, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a brother, Robert Lee “Bobby” (Ruth Ann) Sather.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
    A private family services was held on Friday, February 3, 2017.
    Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park with military honors presented by the Roosevelt American Legion and the Utah National Guard.
