Randy Kim Anderson, age 67, of Myton, formerly of Ogden, passed away August 23, 2023, at his home.
He was born September 24, 1955, in Ogden, to Keith Eugene and Peggy Jean Barnett Anderson. He married Nina Mae Connolly on April 14, 1978, in Ogden.
Randy worked for many years as a welder, first in jetway manufacturing, and later in the trailer building industry. He was in a car accident in 2006 that made it challenging to be a welder so he became a driver for “The Ride,” which is a company that drives elderly or persons with disabilities to hospital visits, the grocery store, etc. He really enjoyed that and getting to know those who rode with him.
Randy spent much of his free time fishing, camping, and being in his cabin in the Pinion Ridge area, close to Fruitland, UT. In his younger years he liked to snow ski, water ski, and go hunting with his family.
He loved his children and grandchildren and his two “furbabies,” his dogs, “Avery” & “Bear.” He will be greatly missed.
Randy is survived by the love of his life for the last 44 years, Nina, of Myton; his sons, Jeremiah “Jay” (Ilene) Anderson; Christopher (Caitlen) Anderson, both of Ogden; grandchildren, Callie Engelke (Zack Wendell), Sierra Jorgensen, Tucker Bennett, Rylie, Mystin, Dalton, Hagen, & Asher Anderson; great-grandchildren, Raydin, Skylee, Zaylie; siblings, Kathy (Robert) Christensen, Ronan, MT; Cliff (Jolene) Anderson, Robin (Wendy) Anderson, both of Roy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved dogs, “Jasper” & “Zeus.”
There will be a viewing on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 1-3 p.m. at the Provident Funeral Home, 3800 S Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT. Following the services, he will be cremated.
