Randi Joylynn Whitmer Farrer

Randi Joylynn Whitmer Farrer, age 39, of Gusher, passed away February 7, 2022, at the Utah Valley Hospital due to several health issues.

She was born in Roosevelt to Zuella Murray and Deno Pike and was later adopted by Randy and Saundria Whitmer.  She graduated from Union High School in Roosevelt.  After high school, she spent a couple of years traveling and experiencing life.  She married Mark Farrer, and they later divorced.

Joy had three beautiful children whom she was very proud of and loved very much.  She conquered some big trials and was very pleased with her ability to maintain sobriety and loved helping others do the same.  She worked as a cook at Red Pine for several years until COVD hit.  She liked cooking and helping out wherever she could.  

Joy believed in and loved her Heavenly Father, and knew with His help, anything was possible.  One of her favorite things was being with her family, friends, and having fun.  She loved many people and was loved by many.  

She is survived by her children, Brent Jared Farrer, Markee Lily-Kae Farrer, Bryndlee Eva-Lynn Whitmer; parents, Randy & Saundria; brother, Jared (Sadie) Whitmer; nieces, Emma, Edee, and nephew, Paxton Whitmer; her biological mother, Zuella “Babes” Murray; siblings, Stewart (Brooke) Yazzie, Kristina (Ben) Lloyd, Kristella Pike, Sunshine Conetah, Desiree Gardner, Quinn Pike, Gabrielle Pike, Emmarie Pike, Sophie Pike, Tashie Apporas; her friend, JD Clark and his sons, Johnny, Aaron, Silas, Jaycin, Jordon, and friend Jessie Sevier.    

She was preceded in death by her biological sister, Ashleigh Pike.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ballard Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  There will be a viewing on Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary and from 10-10:45 a.m. Monday at the church.

Burial will be in the Gusher Cemetery
