    Percelinia Copperfield Howell, age 79, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away September 23, 2020, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center.
    She was born October 10, 1940, in Roosevelt, to Dwight and Alice Oarum Copperfield.  She married Henry Howell and he died in 1984.
    Percelinia worked as a bi-lingual teacher at Todd Elementary School for many years.  She had also worked as a waitress at Bottle Hollow Restaurant as well as in Chicago, and as assistant manager at Ute Petroleum.  She enjoyed going to Pow Wows, Bear Dances and Sun Dances, and traveling - especially to Wendover.  She had a great sense of humor and loved to tease.  Some her favorite past times were shopping, bowling, watching WWE and the Utah Jazz.  
    Her family was very important to her and she especially adored her grandchildren and the time she spent with them.  
    Percelinia is survived by her children, Dan Reeves (Christine) Howell, Seattle, Washington; Gordon Howell, Roosevelt; Henry (Dondie) Howell, Ft. Duchesne; Dalene (Lloyd) Copperfield- Miller, Ft. Duchesne; 24 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; an aunt, Angie Shavanaux, and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her children, Julie Ann Howell,  Michael Gardner, April Dawn Gardner; her parents; her siblings, Myra Copperfield, Hank “Bear Boy” LaRose, Leslie Brown; Delores Arrowchis, grandchildren, Taloaseeth, Gabriel, Dwight Talkingwolf Howell, Sheldon Whiteriver Nephi; and great-granddaughter, Lilly Rain Duncan.
    Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the John Harmes Cemetery in Whiterocks.  There will be a wake on Monday after 4:00 p.m. at her home in Richardson Subdivision.
