Paul Wilson

John Paul Wilson, age 90, of Fruitland, passed away May 16, 2025, at his home.

He was born March 26, 1935, in Provo, Utah, to Alfred and Vera Anderson Wilson. He married Afton Frances “Fran” Burmingham on November 14, 1953 in Vineyard.

Paul owned and operated an excavation company and then drove truck for over 10 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was in a tote gote racing club.

He loved and adored his wife and children.

Paul is survived by his son, Terry Wilson, of Fruitland, his 7 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren; sister Marie (Darrell) Gillies, American Fork; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Afton; son Benny Wilson; and brothers Larry & Gene Wilson.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the Fruitland Cemetery. There will be a viewing that morning from 11-11:35 a.m. at the Fruitland Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
