Paul Duane Reyos returned to his heavenly home, surrounded by his children and grandchildren on August 21, 2023, at the age of 81. Paul was born on September 22, 1941, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Paul and Anita May (Reed) Reyos.
 
He lived in Fort Duchesne, Utah until he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in March 1960 retiring with an honorable discharge on July 13, 1967.  Paul's military career included combat engineer, marine barracks guard, and rifle marksmanship instructor, followed by a promotion to military police sergeant, He received the National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Expert Medal and Good Conduct Medal. After his military career, Paul began his painting trade for 40+ years and continued painting as a hobby after retirement.
 
Paul's passion for genealogy research has left a written legacy for his children, grandchildren, and extended family. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, western music, movies, and painting his abstract art on any spare piece of wood he could find. If there wasn't one nearby, he would just start painting the walls. Mostly, he loved just sitting and visiting with everyone and discussing anything and everything. And playing his favorite game with the grandkids "Pull My Finger". 
 
Paul was always willing to help and serve others. He was a member of the LDS church.
 
Paul is survived by his 6 children: daughter Dena (David) Juday, daughter Renee (Scott) Gibson, son Christopher (Jessica) Reyos, daughter Andrea (Steven) Powell, daughter Marlene Graham, son Fernando (Cami) Reyos, his 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, brothers: Kenny, Allen, Alex and Nino Reyos, sisters Paulette and Kaye Reyos, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 
 
Paul was proceeded in death by his father, Paul Reyos; mother, Anita May Reed Reyos; his sisters Annette Pike; Glenda Miera; and Linda Kelly; and his brothers Robert and Ricky Reyos; baby boy Reyos; great-granddaughter Austen; spouse Patricia Reyos; and stepdaughter Sierra Tolle. 
 
Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 26, at 10:00am in the Fort Duchesne Community Center, followed by interment at Reed Cemetery, Whiterocks (Farm Creek), Utah.
