Patrice Ann Large

Our wife, mother, grandma, “GG,” and auntie, Patrice Ann Large, age 64, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away January 21, 2022.
She was born April 3, 1957, in Flagstaff, Arizona, to Alfred John and Rosie Preston Williams. She married Wade Large on January 21, 1977, in Ganado, Arizona.
Patrice had a worked as a Community Health Representative for the Ute Tribe from 1987 to 1995. She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed sewing, and was an excellent cook. She had a great talent for making star quilts. She was known as Mom to everyone and to know her was to love her. She made sure all were well fed. She enjoyed humor and loved to laugh. She loved animals, her little dogs, “Gigi,” & “Sophie,” and cats, “Molly,” “Taco,” & “Special.”
Patrice loved her husband of 44 years and had Jesus in her heart.
She is survived by her husband, Wade, of Ft. Duchesne; children, Maureen (Pat) Nauman, Charlotte, NC; Gayle Large, Mandy Large, both of Ft. Duchesne; James (Shina) Large, Roosevelt; grandchildren, Christopher, Sariah, David, Jonathan, & Patrick Nauman; Johnny & Malakie Large; great-grandson, Wade Evan James Nauman; a brother, Bruce Williams; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Delbert; and a sister, Amelia.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt Memorial Park. There will be a viewing at the Hullinger Mortuary that morning from 11:00 am -12:45 pm.
