Nolan Jay Morrill, age 77, of Roosevelt, passed away on July 11, 2026 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Nolan was born on March 9, 1949, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Vernon Ross and Gladys Viola Long Morrill.
He married Linda Fay Morrill, on September 6, 1980, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were sealed for time and all eternity on September 6, 1991, in the Sale Lake Temple. She died September 28, 2024.
Nolan worked as a truck driver for many years, after retiring he started his favorite job, which was driving a school bus and getting to know and love the kids he transported. He delighted in being their friend and getting the opportunity to see them each day. He is survived by his children, Vernon Morrill, Peggy Taylor, Melody (Rick) Butler, Glen (Lori) Tanner, Michelle (Shane) Francis, 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Ron, Shirley, Mindy, and Johny.
He was preceded in death by wife Linda Morrill, his parents, his in-laws, Preston and Donna Mitchell, siblings, Valden, Clinton, and Darlene.
Funeral services will be held at Friday, July 17, 2026, 2:00 PM. at the Neola Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There will be a viewing from1:00 - 1:45 PM. Burial will be in the Neola Cemetery.
