Nedra Kae Piep, age 71, of Fruitland, passed away March 6, 2024, at her home.
She was born April 4, 1953, in Copperton, Utah, to Ned R and Carol Mitchell Chestnut. She married Henry George Piep on March 9, 1975, in Elko, Nevada.
Nedra had worked at Merritt Medical, a medical supply company that produced items like IVs, catheters, ports, and other supplies. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them, especially the grandkids. She liked to work in her yard, which she filled with many water features and lighting, play cards, and crochet. She took in all of the stray cats, her favorite being, “Momma,” loved to ride her side-by-side, and really enjoyed being in the outdoors. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Nedra is survived by her husband of just three days short of 49 years, Henry, of Fruitland; her children, Stephanie (Kurt) Hunt, Roosevelt; Debbie (Ryan) Thompson, Huntington; Neddy (Cody) Street, Duchesne; Pete (Jamie) Piep, Idaho; Skyler (Breanna) Piep, Roosevelt; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Jodi (Paul) Sessions, Tooele; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Dale & Donnie; a sister, Randy Grimaud; a nephew, Joe Grimaud; and her parents.
Per her wishes, she was cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
