Nathan Wallace Manning

    Nathan Wallace Manning, age 32, of Vernal, died on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Ashley Regional Medical Center.
    Nathan was born on August 18, 1993, in Roosevelt, Utah, to Raymond Manning and Wilda Annie Bedonie. He was the only boy in the family and thus received all of the attention from his loving sisters. He was lovingly cared for by Tom and Jan Thomas for 20 years. For the last year, RISE Services helped care for Nathan, where he made lots of friends, especially his little fury friend, Chico.
    Nathan had a big heart. He was always friendly and liked to ask lots of questions. He didn’t hesitate to give you a hug and shake your hand. He has a lot of family who still love him and he made lots of friends. He loved Johnny Cash, Spider-man, and James Bond, but above all, he idolized John Cena.
    He loved hot McDonald’s french fries, and hated vegetables. He would constantly ask when the Powwow was coming up so he could get some fry bread.
    Nathan is survived by his mom, Wilda Bedonie, Ft. Duchesne; siblings, Latoya Manning, Roosevelt; Victoria Manning (Kaz Myore), Vernal; Rayia Manning, Vernal; and Romaine Cesspooch, Randlett; niece and nephews, Ethan Chapoose, Ft. Duchesne; Logan Chapoose, Noran Chapoose, and Liam Myore, all of Vernal; foster parents, Tom and Jan Thomas; uncles, Earl (Katherine) Manning, Indian Bench; Everett (Sandra) Manning, Ft. Duchesne; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and relatives.  
    He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond, sisters, Tiffany & Roxanne Manning; grandparents, Ferdinand Manning, Sr., Anna Cornpeach, Julia Tabbee, and George Bedonie; aunts and uncles, Theodore Bedonie, AJ Appawoo, Everett Manning, Ferdinand Manning, Jr., Albert Manning, Clifton Manning, Eleanor Tabbee, Margaret Alhandra, and Emmett Manning.
    Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building. A wake will be held on Wednesday evening after 4:00 PM at the community building.
    Burial in the Ouray-Tabbee Cemetery.
