Mckinley Rae-Xena Kendrick passed away on March 27, 2026 at her home in Roosevelt, Utah. 

She was born on September 26, 2017 to Scott Douglas Kendrick and Heather Lyn Benson. 

She was welcomed with absolute excitement, and she brought so much joy with her arrival. Her smile would always brighten up the room and when she giggled, everyone around her couldn’t help but join in. She made everyone she met fall in love with her. She adored her dad and her two brothers. She loved going on walks around the block with her favorite nurse, Johanna Rosenbaum, riding in the truck on bumpy roads and doing anything that would rock her head back and forth. She had a way with animals who seemed to find comfort snuggling up with her on her chair. Once on a long ride, the only thing that would calm her was ‘You are my sunshine’ sung by Johnny Cash. Despite the many struggles she had in this life, being happy and joyful was not one of them.

Mckinley is survived by her parents, Scott Douglas Kendrick and Heather Lyn Benson, her two brothers, Kayden Lance Kendrick and Cash William Kendrick,  grandfather, Troy William Benson, grandmother, Pamela Smith Kendrick and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Mckinley is preceded in death by her grandfather, Lance Eugene Kendrick, aunt, Tiffany Jane Kendrick,  great grandmother, Verda Sweat-Benson and  great grandfather, Robert William Benson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 at the Roosevelt West Stake Center at 12:00 PM. A viewing will be held from 11:00 - 11:45 AM. 

Following the services she will be cremated.
