Marilyn Griffin

 Marilyn Daniels Griffin, age 83, of Neola, passed away June 18, 2024 at the Uintah Basin Medical Center. 

Marilyn was born March 29, 1942 in Roosevelt, Utah to John Henry and Lena Elmira Elmer Daniels. She married Roger Frank Griffin, they were together for over 50 years. He died March 12, 2020. 

Marilyn enjoyed gardening and working in her yard. She liked coloring, going to the mountains to camp, picnic, and watch the wildlife. She delighted in all of her family, and cherished spending time with them. She loved animals, had many pets through the years, including a cow that would come to the back door to be feed. Her favorite holiday was Christmas, she enjoyed driving around and seeing all the different yards. 

She is survived by her children, Charilyn (Gary) Scholes, Bennito Van, Avery Scott Van, Sydney (Laura) Griffin, Gina (Milton) Miller, Monique (Ken) Wilkinson, 21 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren. Her brothers, Richard Daniels and Darrell Daniels. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Roger Griffin, siblings, Terry Daniels, Jolene Lujuan, and a grandson, Chad Tomaino.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Monarch Cemetery in Neola at 11:00 a.m.
