Lynette Cuch-Grant

    Lynette Taveapont Cuch-Grant, age 58, of Whiterocks, passed away February 21, 2020, at the University of Utah Hospital.
    She was born August 28, 1961, in Roosevelt, to Reed Smoot and Marie Caroline Cuch Taveapont.  
    Lynette did beautiful beadwork and often sold many of her crafts.  She enjoyed riding into town, watching TV, playing Candy Crush, going to Pow Wows & Sundances, spending time in the mountains and gambling at Wendover.  She loved taking care of the nieces and nephews and they all called her “Nana.”  She took her “handsome four-legged boy”, Miller, everywhere she went.  
    Lynette is survived by her niece that she raised, Tiffanie (Lon) Hackford,  Whiterocks Road; brothers and sisters, Berdeena Taveapont, Ft. Duchesne; Franklin Taveapont, Whiterocks; Floradeena Taveapont, Whiterocks; Lalisa Taveapont, Ft. Duchesne; aunt, Ina Jane Nephi; uncle, Don Taveapont; and numerous nieces and nephews, and her dog, Miller.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Pansy Taveapont, Eldora Bush, Sandra Taveapont, Clifford Cornpeach, Venita Taveapont, Lola Taveapont; nieces and nephew, Anna Marie Bush, Levaughn Lee, and Neiko Nephi.
    Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ft. Duchesne Community Building.  There will be a wake at her home after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.  
    Burial will be in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
