Lucille Brady

Lucile Brady, age 72, of Duchesne, passed away December 7, 2015, at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center from leukemia that had only been diagnosed four days previous. She had heart problems for years.
She was born September 6, 1943, in Bridgeland, to Marrell Lloyd and Zeda Clayburn Brady. At about the age of 12, she contracted Polio, and even though she overcame it, the effects of it lingered her entire life.
She worked at the University Mall at a store called Castleton's, and then when standing became a problem, she worked at Murdock Travel as a receptionist. She liked genealogy and learning the histories of her ancestors. She treasured family heirlooms and keepsakes like books and furniture. She had a loving, kind heart, and spoke in a gentle way. She was a member of the LDS Church. She loved cheering for the BYU football and basketball teams.
Lucile is survived by her sister, Helen Brady, Duchesne; many nieces and nephews, and special friends Mr. and Mrs. Mark Bateman, of Orem.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marrell and Zeda; and a brother, Leo Lloyd Brady.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at the Duchesne LDS Stake Center where a viewing will be held that morning from 10-10:45 a.m.
Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park under direction of the Hullinger Mortuary. Condolences may be shared at www.hullingermortuary.com
The family wishes to thank the Bateman family for all of the help that they have given to Lucile over the years.
