Lorna Jenks

    Lorna Serawop Jenks, age 92, of Yellowstone Subdivision, passed away at her home with her family by her side on April 19, 2026.
    Lorna was born July 24, 1933 in Bitter Creek, Utah to Sam and Rose Ruhogit Serawop.
    Lorna married Glenn Jenks, he died January 21, 2016.
    Lorna was very organized and was known for her ability to delegate, balance a lot of things at the same time and give good council.  She was firm, but loving in all of her relationships.  She worked as a cook for Head Start for many years and later was a counselor for those who struggled with alcohol and drug abuse.  She enjoyed going to Wendover, playing games on her iPad, and doing word search puzzles.  Her family was the most important thing to her and she delighted in her grandchildren.
    She is survived by her children Gwen (Garrett) Denetsosie, Glenna Jenks, Jerry Jenks, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
    She is preceded in death by her husband Glenn Jenks, children, Tom Jenks, Derrick Jenks, Crystal Adams, and her siblings, Sylvia Serawop, Lloyd Comocoats, Moses Comocoates, Yvonne Thompson and Reed Sibello.
    Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hullinger Mortuary.  A wake will be held at her home after 4:00 PM on Tuesday (5000 E 2000 North).
    Burial will be in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
