    Lonnie Wayne Hogan, age 62, of Randlett, passed away February 8, 2015, at St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.
    He was born July 6, 1952, in Wilson, Oklahoma, to Charlie Richard and Mary Lee Peevey Hogan.  
    Lonnie came to Utah to work in the oil field industry in 1971.  He met the love of his life, Judy Rogers, on a blind date and four short months later, they eloped back to Oklahoma, marrying on September 19, 1971, in Lindsay, Oklahoma.  They came back to Utah and made it their permanent home. Their first child, Tina Marie, was born in June 1972, and their twins, Sherry Ann and Terry Dewayne, came three years later in April 1975.      Lonnie had a Master’s Degree in life.  He worked numerous jobs including, the oilfield industry, truck driving, and mining.  In 1980, when he became employed for Uintah County, he worked as their Road Superintendent until 2000, when health issues caused his early retirement.  He was strong-willed and determined, and recovered quickly.  He gathered his children together to build a construction company.  With his help and extensive knowledge, he created a legacy for his grandchildren. In his last years, he owned and operated a trucking company.  
    He didn’t have much spare time, but when he could, he liked fishing, camping, and tinkering with cars.  
    Lonnie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Hogan, Randlett; Tina Marie LaRose (Bradley Pinnecoose), Roosevelt; Sherry Ann Hogan, Roosevelt; Terry DeWayne (Spring) Hogan, Randlett; adopted son, Erik LaRose, Ft. Duchesne; grandchildren: Aaron “Potter” LaRose, Ashlae “Gus” LaRose, Brandt “Judge” LaRose, Shanae “Nabor” Hogan, Shayne “Dukester” (Sarah) Hogan, Shelbee “Oopy” Hogan, Justen Wayne “Just” (Courtney) Hogan, Brooklynne Hogan, Katie Jo Hogan, Kennlee “RaeRae” Hogan, Quinn Hogan; great-grandchildren, Richard Kirk, D”nahe Xavier Hogan; brother and sisters, Dorothy Ross, Waynoka, Oklahoma; Donald Gene Hogan, Purcell, OK; Chalene (Rick) Guynn, Bradley, OK; Donna Sue Hugo, Lindsay, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Hogan, Richard Alva Hogan; infant brother, Billy, and a brother- in-law Elmer Ross.
    Funeral services will be held on Friday, February, 13, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at the Avalon Community Center in Randlett.  Viewings will be held on Thursday at the Hullinger Mortuary from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday at the Community Center beginning at 10:00 a.m.
    Burial will be in the Leota Cemetery.
