Linda Lucille Daniels Guy, age 67, of Snyder, Texas, formerly of the Uintah Basin, passed away on October 10, 2025.
She was born June 4, 1958, in Roosevelt, Utah to Lewis and Revella Wall Daniels, the second of five children. She married James "Tom" Guy on November 23, 1988 in Snyder, TX and they shared 36 years of devotion.
Linda had a passion for cooking, baking, and spending time outdoors, especially camping. Her homemade meals became family traditions—favorites like chicken fried steak, cinnamon rolls, and banana pudding were always in high demand. She loved to bake cookies for any occasion, often sharing them with friends, neighbors, and loved ones just because she could.
Music was another of Linda’s joys. She and Tom frequently attended live concerts together and enjoyed relaxing at home watching their favorite shows and movies.
For more than a decade, Linda devoted herself to caring for children as an in-home daycare provider. She helped nurture and guide many little ones through the earliest and most important years of their lives, leaving a lasting impression on each family she touched.
Above all else, Linda cherished her family and friends. She was fiercely loyal, compassionate, and always made sure everyone felt included and cared for. Her warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Guy, children: Miranda Hackford, Altamont Utah; Bryan Daniels, Snyder, Texas; Justin (Jessica) Guy, Plano, Texas; Taylor (Amanda) Guy, West Des Moines, Iowa; Jonathan Guy, Indianola, Iowa; siblings: Donna (Brent) Davis, Price, Utah; Steven (Stephanie) Daniels, Elko, Nevada; Michael Daniels, Altamont, Utah; Thyrena (Joe) Burdick, Roosevelt, Utah; grandchildren; Breauna Hall Webb, Bailey Hall, Adrienne Martinez, Jaci Guy, Jordan Guy, Jayda Watzlavik, Teagan Guy, Joylynn Guy, Tres Guy, and Jaxson Guy; and mother-in-law, Joyce Guy.
