Lidia Diossy

Lidia Terezia Diossy, age 71, of Roosevelt, passed away May 6, 2026, at her home.

She was born on November 16, 1954, in Belfast, Hungary. Lidia had worked as a nurses aid in Sacramento, California, at hospitals and long term care facilities. That is where she met her companion, Richard Hall, in 2015. They moved to the Uintah Basin in 2020.

Lidia was a good cook and homemaker, and also enjoyed sewing, knitting, decorating, fishing and being in nature. She was a person who kept to herself, and had a warm, kind-hearted, yet sassy, personality.

Lidia is survived by her companion of 11 years, Richard Hall.

To help others, she has donated her body to science through the University of Utah Body Donor Program.
