Laverda Duncan

Laverda Lisa Duncan, age 38, passed away February 3, 2016, at her home in Ft. Duchesne.
She was born November 5, 1977, in Roosevelt, to Emmett R. Duncan, Sr., and Shari Roberta Cesspooch.
Laverda enjoyed traveling all over the country, watching movies, singing, and playing the guitar. She was raised by her grandmother, Maxine Penningjack and her great-grandmother Virginia Duncan, and they often traveled together.
She attended the Native American Church.
Laverda is survived by her parents Emmett Duncan, Sr., Shari Cesspooch, both of Ft. Duchesne; grandmother, Elisa Orlanda Tate, Mancos, CO; brothers and sisters, Clinton Robert Duncan, Maxine Marie Duncan, both of Salt Lake City; Emmett R Duncan, Jr., Rupert J Duncan, Frankie R. Cesspooch, Karen C esspooch, Crystal Tate, all of Ft. Duchesne; Alfred Greaves, Vernal; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Cesspooch, grandparents, Clinton Duncan, Maxine Eleanor Penningjack, Frank Tate, and Virginia Duncan.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at the Ft. Duchesne Gym. She will be taken to her home on Friday after 4:00 p.m. for a wake.
Burial in the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
