LILLIAN TORREY

    Lavena Lillian Sanford Torrey died peacefully October 21, 2019, at the age of 98 at the Beehive Homes of Vernal.
    Lillian was born in Thermopolis, Wyoming to Wiley and Dollie Sanford.  She married Joesph Black, of Kemmerer, Wyoming.  Together they had two children, Shirley and William.  They later divorced. She married Abe Torrey and they lived in Reno, Nevada, then later located to Salt Lake City.
    Lillian was devoted to her dogs.  She spent many an afternoon playing cards with Abe in her beautiful yard, often reminiscing about her life growing up in Thermopolis.  Lillian was sharp witted to the end.  She always brought a smile to those around her.
    Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, seven siblings, and her children.
    There will be a private celebration of her life by her family.  She was cremated under the care of Hullinger Mortuary.
