Laura Kay Ivie Payne, age 44, of Vineyard, UT, formerly of Roosevelt, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Timpanogos Hospital in Orem.
Laura was born April 9, 1971 in Vernal to Ralph Kay and Susan Laura Thompson Ivie. She married Matthew Gerald Payne on July 15, 1989 in Roosevelt.
Laura was a true spit fire, who accomplished everything she put her mind to. She enjoyed crocheting, doing puzzles, shopping, spending time with her family, the beauty of the fall and Halloween. She was very creative and made many wonderful things through the years. She was a very patient and a humble person who had a great personality. Family was everything to Laura, she loved and delighted in her husband, children and grandchildren, they were her world.
She is survived by her husband Matthew Payne, children Brycyn (Rachael), Matthew Jacob, Zephrey, Kyahna, & Tegan Payne; grandchildren, Ambria, Abcyd, Renay, her parents, Susan Ivie, Ralph Ivie, parents-in-law, Gerald Payne, Peggy Hollen Payne; brothers and sisters, Kent R (Bobbie Dawn) Ivie, Michael (Ashley) Ivie and Tiffany Michelle Ivie (Bobby Davies).
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph & Dortha Ivie, Merrell & Myrth Lisonbee, cousins, Angela Evette Ivie, Tasha Jean Sysco Hanberg, Sonya Shury Foote, and nephew, Sean Merrell Ivie.
Funeral services held on Friday, October 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Roosevelt 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 44th South State Street. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary, and Friday at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
